Re-start

It’s been 2 years from my last post. If you are still following me I thank you for your love! So many changes happened last 2 years as a result of that, I live in NYC now.

I will make you catch up of my life in following posts!

Älska Sverige

I just came back from Farewell party for me. I’m leaving Sweden on next Monday… It has been very hard process about transition. I love Sweden from first day of being here, so I didn’t want to leave at all.

So here I’m sharing some of my highlights….

Where beautiful flowers are everywhere, knows how to care them enjoy them. And I got to live by the sea which is most beautiful area!

And I got to learn how to bake! Swedes are really love to bake, and they love all kinds homemade stuff!

Semla! Its super delicious and fatty, so people eat on fat day which is last day before Lent starts.

I found my gift in baking and cooking! It’s so fun!

I will surely miss meat balls until I come back to Sweden! Chocolate balls as well.

And got to learn how to knit! I’m knit pro now.

I can see what things I’ve learned from being in Sweden. There are much more things I can share but I’ll finish here.
I hope to come back after my MA degree in U.S.A.

BUT I will enjoy my last days here.
Vi ses snart.

rainy easter monday

This morning I woke up with no alarm. I dropped my iphone into sink with full of water last Good Friday. Since then my phone died so basically I don’t have any alarm to put on. But today is still Red day here in Sweden as easter Monday, so it was fine to sleep in a bit.

It’s rainy day as showing my sadness of loosing be loved iphone, which has all my document that I haven’t backed up to itunes last 3months… stupid! I’m alone in my room again, actually in whole my house.

One of my roommates went to Denmark to teach, anther roommate is coming back home today sometime from her easter break.

So here I am becoming creative when I’m alone. Beside painting I’m also making cowl with yellow yarn that I bought on Saturday at Gothenburg. It was on sale so I bought it at 10kr!! I will share later when I’m finish knitting.

Hope you all are still with me, I have been struggle a lot with personal life. But I’m back now, will share more paintings and my life.

Thank you all! KRAM

creative day

For me, being alone makes me creative.

Before I thought Sunshine makes me creative, but today although it’s very grey out side I feel very creative. So I look around and thought about things. I realized when I feel free, being alone, makes me creative that is point where I don’t put myself in the box. Freedom is such a precious feeling, and gives you feeling that you can do anything, becoming positive, start to act.

I painted Lily flower, it has been 6 months that I didn’t paint any… oh well I need to paint more often surely.

cheese platter for b-day party!

I had 26th birthday party last thursday evening! I’ve thinking to have private quality party so decide to do cheese platter evening! I haven’t done it before but I’m cheese lover so.

First question came to me was which cheese I need to buy it? So I’ve been searching online days and days, found good advice from ‘A cup of Jo’ blog. I’m flowing her blog and she has so many things to learn from. Cheese plate guide from her.

So I decided to buy each cheese from different milk, but when I went to shop it was really hard to find each one from different milk. First I’m not fluent in Swedish and it wasn’t categorized by milk. I stood at cheese cornet at ICA MAXI(Big supermarket here in Sweden) about 20 minutes, realized I brought paper that wrote down names of cheese from Cheese plate guide.

So I bought Castello Blue Cheese (Denmark)/ Høng Camembert (France)/ Grayère Reserva (Switzerland)/ Les Petit Fiance (France.Goat cheese)/ Manchego (Spain)/ Västerbatten Ost (Sweden)/Cambozola (French/Italy)

Then prepare cheese an hour before so it would be good if its room temperature you will enjoy best flavor out of cheese. And prepared biscuits and baguette (French bread would be good) and pear, grape is best combination with cheese. Also prepare cranberry source or cranberry marmalade. And I put out some olives as well.

Then enjoy party with either Champaign or Wine, and Henry Mancini – Breakfast At Tiffany’s Original Soundtrackgreat fellowship with dear ones.

sneak peek: sunday

I love those Russian dolls! It’s one of my flat mates’ I wish to travel Russia and get one of those. Also I’m considering to get blank russian dolls so make my the only one russian dolls! And since being a paparazzi 2weeks ago on conference the held where I stay, I started to take lots photos again which give me a lot of inspiration to do creative work.

My mother sent some food from Tanzania, Africa. My parents moved to Tazania last summer now they are learning language and started to settle down. Mother dried Mango and Banana at home, made dried porridge and sent all of it with 2 cans of coffee, cashew nut (It’s totally amazing although I can buy here in Sweden too but it’s much more good taste!)

color: dried tulip

I love this dried tulips! one of my roommates got tulips 3weeks ago from her church and after some time it started to dying. So I cut flowers and dried them in container on heating radiator. So I quite kept shape of it and color! I love when flower dries color get little darker, it pleases me so much.

And I have tulip plant from last year I dried them totally through out the year after it died, and this year it started to grow again! It’s first time for me to keep plant over a year so I’m very excited to have tulips from my old tulip plant. Do you have any plant?
