love weekends!

Hello, sorry for last post up! my life has been busy and tired so I couldn’t update it. But ! today is weekend specially sunny sunday. YAY! I love weekend like this…

wake up whenever I feel like and take shower, baking bread or scones! then have a time of meditate on God and pray for coming week! it’s one of my favorite part.

And cook some food 🙂 for lunch!

Recipe/Mozzarella salad:

1 tomato, 1 mozzarella cheese, fresh basil (although I used dried one here fresh one is the best), balsamic vinegar.

It’s snowing sunday! Have some scones and vanilla candle reading a book. What can be better? Here comes recipe! *I added dried cranberry (photo above)

  • prep time : under 30 min
  • potion: 8 st
Ingredients
    • 4 dl flour
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 2ml salt
    • 50 g butter
    • 2 dl milk
    • cheese or marmalade, for serving
  1. preheat oven at 250°C.
  2. Bland flour, baking powder, any of the flavorings (see Tips below), and salt in a bowl. Grind the butter or margarine into flour mixture. Add milk and mix quickly into a sticky dough.
  3. Spoon out 2 cakes, 8 buns or a length on a baking sheet with parchment paper (for 8). Bake in middle of oven 10-12 minutes.
  4. Serve scone freshly baked with cheese or jam.

Tips

Suggested seasonings for 8 scones:
1 cup dried fruit such as apricots, figs, raisins, cranberries, blueberries and goji berries
1 cup nuts or almonds
1/2 g saffron and 1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cardamom seeds support and 1 tsp sugar
